From high risk of heart disease, healthy and active

In this article, I conclude how my friend Patrick went from heart disease to heart, healthy and active. It was not always like this for Patrick. Indeed, all began when Patrick did not visit his GP for a long time after his 65th birthday. He told me "I got a shock when my doctor warned that I was at high risk of heart disease that could lead to stroke and heart failure with high blood pressure and not enough workout.

I knew I had to look better at me as the last thing I needed was a heart attack. It was just what I liked my lifestyle as it was, working hard and ending the day in front of the TV with a drink or a few I was spending money on medication and health inspection and felt a little bit down. I was finding it hard to keep up with my grandchildren and a little embarrassing about my inflammatory bowel. I was worried that if I did not make any changes it could be very bad , especially because I was at high risk of stroke and even snow mma death. I had to find a way to reduce the risk of heart disease.

If I could not do this, I would be overweight and would have little energy for two things to eat; my wife and hunt. I would lose all the pleasures of life as the challenges and struggles would be just bigger and insurmountable. I could end up with stroke. This would mean I would no longer be able to go to the boat and fish with my partner, or go with my wife whom she loves . I would stop being able to bring the dough for my family. I would be burdened on the ones I love most.

My health challenges seemed to have been better for me. One day my wife looked at me with great disappointment when I said I could not bring her to visit my grandchild because I was too sick and tired. I hit a rock and knew I had to take some positive actions. I was going to follow the first thing the doctor had told me to do. My doctor told me to start eating healthy as one on my way to reduce the risk factors for heart disease.

My wife happily started cooking a healthy meal when I knew I'd eat them.

I started studying heart disease and what foods are actually healthy. At first I was completely surprised by all the different and sometimes conflicting answers and I suffered from too much information. I ended up spending a lot of money and time collecting information and testing different diets to see who would reduce my blood pressure.

One day, my friend's friend, who had heard about my health project, told me about the benefits of making your body alkaline. My doctor had told me that healthy eating was one of the factors that helped keep your heart healthy and helped stroke . My wife and I started implementing Alka Paleo diet and just drink alkaline water. Alka Paleo diet combines the best elements of the Alkaline diet with a Paleo diet. We followed Alkaline food shortage when we made a weekly store and bought a basic water filter. We were soon using a good salad with meat or fish at noon instead of sharps and processed foods.

It was about 3 months later that I booked in to see my GP again. I was very nervous and my plots were sweaty. But I was very excited to share the changes I had made with my doctor. Your doctor wrapped the blood pressure monitor over my arm and I kept my breath in anticipation.

Your doctor was often worried about his face, but now it was only a surprise . My blood pressure had come down to a healthy level. I was so proud to get back to my health and was excited to share the gospel with my wife and children. I no longer had to worry about having a stroke and becoming dependent on others. I had the energy to continue my work with a local council and to have a yarn with my partner while fishing and playing golf. My wife and I had more fun than we were at age. It was refreshing to be able to laugh again.

The results were more than I hoped for. I had turned my ship from the storm and I knew my life was changing significantly, the better. So today I have a simple question for you, would you like similar results in your own life?
