The average reading rate of a child in elementary school is about 200 words per minute (wpm). By the time we reach adulthood, it has not improved significantly, because most adults read an average of 200-250 wpm. While understanding this rate is considered reasonable, it will be difficult to read a large amount of information in a short period of time at 250 vpm.
Some individuals claim to read over 10,000 wpm or even 25,000 wpm and say they can still understand everything they have read. Even if such individuals can get a price like this, there is a speed of 1000-10000 wpm speed that contestants read at the World Cup. Therefore, if your average reading rate comes somewhere close to this ratio, you may consider yourself doing wonderfully well.
