Do you know people who always seem happy and others who always seem sad? What makes one person appear stable and another person constantly down? What you emphasize will be your reality. Did you know that two people can experience the same event, but who will give it another meaning? A simple example is where one man sees a glass of water half full and the other sees it half empty. Do you think this affects how this person responds to these situations or other situations in life. Yes, it sure happens. What do you see
How do you change how you feel? How do you change your feelings?
There are 3 forces that affect our feelings. I learned this on the Tony Robbins course, Unleash The Power Within.
1.FYSIOLOGY. It's about what we do with our bodies. How we breathe, our attitude and how we go.
1.LANGUAGE. It's about what we say to ourselves, the language we use, our self-esteem, the questions we ask ourselves.
2.FOCUS / BELIEFS. Our value and faith. What are the opinions that encourage you. This is the cause and effect.
The next exercise shows how you can change how you feel by changing these three forces.
Think about time when you felt down or sad. What was your body position like? What did you say to yourself? Where was your focus? What did you believe in the situation you were in? Really connect with how you feel. Now write it down.
Once you get into a situation, change by shaking your body out.
Think about time when you felt very happy. What was your body position like? How were you breathing? What did you say to yourself? What words did you say? What was your focus on? What did you believe in the situation? Write it down now.
Could you change your condition from being sad to feel good? How soon did it happen?
To make positive changes to your life it is important to be able to put yourself in a positive situation. You are more likely to monitor your actions if you are able to put yourself in a positive state.
Remember that you can control your feelings. Did not you just do it?
